My plenary presentation was scheduled for the Lord-Have-Mercy slot of 3:45-5:00 PM. On a Friday after they'd already been meeting for a couple of days. Still, ~ 25 folks showed up and that was fine with me. Years ago, I learned to embrace this wisdom: whoever is there, is supposed to be there.
It was a good group, which I define as open and interested. Only two people shot their hands up when I asked, "Who wishes social media would just go away?"
