Having given this some thought, a little thought, let me say these things.
For me the biggest thing is first and foremost community. My faith is greatly deepened by people of many walks of faith who I have met with out here. Some encounters are brief, others go deeper and make for real friendship and community, but the way some people have touched me is very profound. I would certainly count you among that number, dear Meredith.
Another way that my faith is deepened via social media is in the ways that I have been called to share my own faith - as well as my own despair. This leads us straight back to that community thing!
